Fourth Annual Ogden Music Festival

June 3, 4, & 5, 2011 enjoy the Ogden Music Festival put on by OFOAM (Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music).

Listen to bluegrass, blues, folk, jazz and rockabilly while enjoying nature at Ogden's beautiful Fort Buenaventura. Bring your own acoustic instrument and jam with friends between sets. Do not forget your sunscreen and a blanket so you can layout on the grass.

Make a weekend of it. On Friday night have dinner at MacCool's or one of the wonderful restaurants on Historic 25th Street, ask the front desk for recommendations and discounts. Then enjoy Historic 25th Street's Classic Car show which is free to the public 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Then head over to Fort Buenaventura for the Music Festival. After the Music Festival have a restful night in a lovely Executive Suite at Ben Lomond Suites. Wake up Saturday morning and enjoy your complimentary breakfast at Ben Lomond Suites. Then cross the street and stroll through Ogden's Farmers' Market. Once you have had your fill of arts & crafts and picked up some fresh fruits and vegetables for your picnic lunch head back to Fort Buenaventura for some more acoustic music and sunshine. After the music festival stop by the Solomon Center and try indoor surfing or ski diving, do a little shopping and dining on 25th Street, or visit the Union Station or Dinosaur Park. Saturday night dinner at another great restaurant on 25th Street and a movie at the MegaPlex. Another great night at Ben Lomond Suites, breakfast and then back to Fort Buenaventura to finish up the Music Festival.
