Snowbasin is a great ski resort with 3,000 ski-able acres and a total of 113 runs. Snowbasin was the venue for the men's and women's downhill competitions in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. January 15th through the 17th Snowbasin hosted the 2010 Winter Dew Tour where snowboard and free-ski athletes got to compete and show off their moves. Snowbasin's lift hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily during the ski season which runs from Thanksgiving until mid April (conditions permitting).

Directions to Snowbasin From Ben Lomond Suites Historic Hotel

Proceed north on Washington Blvd. for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto 12th St./State Road 39. Proceed east on 12th St./State Road 39 through Ogden Canyon, past Pineview Dam and turn right on State Road 167 heading south (just west of a gas station). Turn right on State Road 226 heading west and proceed approximately three miles to Snowbasin.

Snowbasin Ski Resort and the Winter Dew Tour

Snowbasin will be hosting the Winter Dew Tour's Championship February 10-13, 2011

Snowbasin, in Ogden, Utah will host the third and final stop of the Tour's third season. This will be the second year that Snowbasin hosts the Winter Dew Tour and they have great plans. Snowbasin is building a 22-foot superpipe while showcasing the top winter athletes from around the world competing in freeskiing (slopestyle and superpipe) and snowboarding (slopestyle and superpipe).

Boasting the largest media platform in all of winter action sports, all three stops of the Winter Dew Tour will be televised Live on NBC, simulcast on Verizon V CAST and around the world on Eurosport 2 and Fox Sports Australia, with additional broadcasts on USA Network, MTV2 and Universal HD.

Entering its third season, the top athletes in the world will take part in the 2010-11 Winter Dew Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded at the Toyota Championship at Snowbasin Resort in Ogden, Utah. The 2009-10 Dew Cup champions include Andreas Hatveit (Freeski Slopestyle), Jossi Wells(Freeski Superpipe), Jamie Anderson (Women's Snowboard Slopestyle), Sage Kotsenburg (Men's Snowboard Slopestyle), Kaitlyn Farrington (Women's Snowboard Superpipe), JJ Thomas (Men's Snowboard Superpipe).
