2010 Winter Dew Tour

Snowbasin and Ogden City are hosting the 2010 Winter Dew Tour January 15-17, 2010. The Winter Dew Tour features super-pipe and slope-style competitions in both free-skiing and snowboarding. On top of competitions between the world's best winter action sports athletes, the Dew Tour will feature a live musical performance on Friday, interactive events, athlete autograph signings, games and giveaways.

The competitions will be at Snowbasin during the day and the evening festivities will take place in downtown Ogden within blocks of Ben Lomond Suites Historic Hotel. January 15th Dashboard Confessional will perform at a free concert just blocks from the hotel.

Snowbasin Ski Resort

Ben Lomond Suites is just 20 miles from Snowbasin Ski Resort. The hotel has partnered with Ogden City to provide a skier shuttle to Snowbasin for December, 2009 - March, 2010. Along with the convenience of a skier shuttle to the slopes Ben Lomond Suites has the pleasure of being in downtown Ogden within walking distance of many great restaurants and entertainment.

Snowbasin is a great ski resort with 3,000 ski-able acres and a total of 113 runs. Snowbasin was the venue for the men's and women's downhill competitions in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. January 15th through the 17th Snowbasin is hosting the 2010 Winter Dew Tour where snowboard and free-ski athletes get to compete and show off their moves. Snowbasin's lift hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily during the ski season which runs from Thanksgiving until mid April (conditions permitting).

Directions to Snowbasin From Ben Lomond Suites

Proceed north on Washington Blvd. for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto 12th St./State Road 39. Proceed east on 12th St./State Road 39 through Ogden Canyon, past Pineview Dam and turn right on State Road 167 heading south (just west of a gas station). Turn right on State Road 226 heading west and proceed approximately three miles to Snowbasin.

Ski Shuttle December, 2009 - March, 2010

This year enjoy a ski vacation without your car. Ben Lomond Suites is partnering with the city of Ogden to provide a shuttle to the local ski resorts. Three 15-passenger step-on buses will be shuttling snow skiers and snow boarders to and from Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Wolf Creek.
