Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music (OFOAM) will present the 3rd Annual Ogden Bluegrass and Acoustic Music Festival the first weekend in June (June 4-6, 2010) at Ogden's beautiful Fort Buenaventura. The musicians performing at the music festival will be staying at Ben Lomond Suites. The Ben Lomond was formerly The Bigelow Hotel and was constructed in 1927. The building is located on the southeast corner of Washington Boulevard and Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah.

The hotel achieved, and has held, the distinction of the tallest building in the city of Ogden from the time of its construction and it is considered one of three "grand hotels" in Utah. Architecturally the hotel is a fine example of the Italian Renaissance Revival style, common in the 1920s, but unusual for Utah. The building stands as a prime example of the growth and economic development in Ogden during that decade.
