Snowbasin Ski Resort

Ben Lomond Suites is just 20 miles from Snowbasin Ski Resort. The hotel has partnered with Ogden City to provide a skier shuttle to Snowbasin for December, 2009 - March, 2010. Along with the convenience of a skier shuttle to the slopes Ben Lomond Suites has the pleasure of being in downtown Ogden within walking distance of many great restaurants and entertainment.

Snowbasin is a great ski resort with 3,000 ski-able acres and a total of 113 runs. Snowbasin was the venue for the men's and women's downhill competitions in the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. January 15th through the 17th Snowbasin is hosting the 2010 Winter Dew Tour where snowboard and free-ski athletes get to compete and show off their moves. Snowbasin's lift hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily during the ski season which runs from Thanksgiving until mid April (conditions permitting).

Directions to Snowbasin From Ben Lomond Suites

Proceed north on Washington Blvd. for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto 12th St./State Road 39. Proceed east on 12th St./State Road 39 through Ogden Canyon, past Pineview Dam and turn right on State Road 167 heading south (just west of a gas station). Turn right on State Road 226 heading west and proceed approximately three miles to Snowbasin.

Snowbasin offers great rates for Spring Skiing starting mid March.

Ben Lomond Suites is just 20 miles from Powder Mountain Ski Resort. The hotel has partnered with Ogden City to provide a skier shuttle to Powder Mountain for December, 2009 - March, 2010. Along with the convenience of a skier shuttle to the slopes Ben Lomond Suites has the pleasure of being in downtown Ogden within walking distance of many great restaurants and entertainment.

Powder Mountain Ski Resort has over 7,000 acres of ski-able terrain and tons of powder. The ski resort has 124 runs that are accessed by ski lifts, shuttles, and snowcats. Day skiing is 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Night skiing is 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
